We are not well.
I know that is not the best way to start, but sometimes brutal honesty is necessary. I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years and working with nutrition therapy for over 10 years. I can honestly say currently the state of most of us are insanely stressed, overworked, overwhelmed, loaded with anxiety, and exhausted. Would you agree? We have the most anxious stressed-out generation in history!
When we are not doing well our digestion and gut are not doing well either…are any of these familiar to you?
Bloating
Inflammation all over!
Belching + Burping
Distention after eating
Sugar cravings that drive you mad
3 pm crash and need for caffeine
Not having a bowel movement for 3 days
Running to the bathroom multiple times a day
Pain in your right side
Not eating because you are never hungry

Reread those, from top to bottom, and think about what would feel the best!
Why are we just willing to sit in the yucky?
We are willing to suffer every day, just because we feel like that is “just the way it is” and we move through the day, maybe take a few TUMS, and hope that tomorrow will feel just a bit better.
I invite you to stop reading for 10 seconds and close your eyes, think about how your body feels right now. What is showing up? Think about those sensations and think about how much you desire to change.
Do you enjoy how you feel right now? On a scale of 1-10 do you want to stay feeling this way?
I don't know about you, but when I read that second list of options, I CRAVE those feelings. To have a consistent mood, and feel the energy be stable all day long…I long for that.
What options in that list do you crave the most? Write them down!
You can feel these options with different food choices, maybe some different lifestyle choices, and adding in some possible supplemental support. You can feel consistent bowel movements and more mental clarity!!
Every. Single. Day!
And, you do not have to turn your life upside down to make that happen. As I work with clients to change their nutrition, it can be scary, vulnerable, and hard at first. I am not going to sugarcoat that. Change is hard. Especially changing what you eat day in and day out… can be hard. And, you can do it in a way that does not feel like you are jumping off a cliff.
How does feeling like crap every single day do for you right now?

Learn about your macros! Debunk the carbs, proteins, and fats. What is the deal with them, how much, when, and what should you be eating to support your body?
Blood sugar! How is working and not working? How to get rid of your hangry and give you energy!
Tools for meal planning, shopping, and breaking down the fundamentals of food so you can support yourself throughout the stress of your week
