The world feels like a lot right now.
At least for me, I am finding that even finding the space to breathe is challenging. I do write about this a lot on my substack, and I feel like repetition is so very important.
We are not taking the time to breathe.
I invite you to breathe with me! Slow your roll and settle in for a really lovely guided meditation this week.
What would it be like if we just did not spend a day on social media and we put our phones on “do not disturb”? The world would not stop spinning and to be honest, we are going to be much happier. We will have had the space to look our loved ones in the eye, to hear about their day without distractions, and to be present in life. Present in your own life.
Find the “do not disturb” setting on your phone. And, if a whole day seems to be too much to ask, then do it for 1 hour. Start with where you are able to find success. I can promise you that you WILL feel a little bit better…maybe A LOT better.
This week, this recorded meditation is called the 10 Count Breath, and I guide you through the whole process. This is a great way to introduce yourself to breathing, to a short form of meditation, and a lovely way to clear the mind from the craziness of our world.
What is 10-Count Breath Meditation?
10-Count Breath Meditation is a simple yet effective mindfulness practice that focuses on counting breaths to enhance concentration and relaxation. To practice, sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in. As you exhale, silently count "one." Inhale again, then count "two" on the next exhale. Continue this pattern up to ten, then start over from one. If your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back to the count. This practice helps calm the mind, reduce stress, and cultivate present-moment awareness.
Just try it! Share with me your thoughts, and maybe assign yourself to do it once a day for 7 days and see if you can see a shift. I bet you will!
Enjoy!
P.S. - Finding your way through healthy eating is so overwhelming! Book a complimentary call with me! Let’s work together!
